Meet the Team
Lisa Collins has been working and managing homes in both adult and children’s services for 18 years. Over this time Lisa has supported and worked with service users who have various needs including learning disabilities, behavioural, emotional and mental health difficulties.
Lisa has significant experience in working with issues of Child Sexual Exploitation, sexual abuse, antisocial and criminal behaviour, self-harm, sexually harmful behaviour and conflict and aggression.
Lisa has been the regional and safeguarding lead for large organisation covering strategic planning and driving quality assurance throughout the organisation.
Lisa has delivered training to all staff throughout two large organisations and also within small teams. Lisa holds both teaching and assessing qualifications for 14 plus learners.
Lisa holds a NEBOSH qualification in Occupational Health and Safety. She has devised and implemented health and safety policies and procedures including safe systems of work for a medium sized organisation. Lisa has extensive knowledge and experience on risk management.
Sunita Sud has over 21 years’ experience in working with children and young people from within a multitude of settings.
She began her working career as a Manager of a respite home for adults with a learning disability and / or physical disability. Sunita completed the Nebs Certificate in Supervisory Management within this employment.
At the same time, Sunita was working for a Local Authority Youth Service on a part time basis as a locally qualified Youth and Community Worker. This involved designing and delivering issue based direct work with groups of young people both within a Youth Centre setting and also doing outreach Support on the streets of the local community and engaging young people.
After this position, Sunita began employment working for a large private provider of residential care for children as an Assistant Manager of a Residential Care Home and completed a Diploma in Social Work through Salford University. She spent five years in total within this position, working with young people from within the care system and managing a staff team, whilst ensuring that the statutory and regulatory obligations in terms of the National Care Standards and at the time inspections undertaken by the Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI), she moved on to hold a Registered Manager position at another Private Care Company in 2005 and managed two single and dual occupancy homes.
Throughout her career in working with children and young people, Sunita has also completed a NVQ Level 4 in Care Management, the D32 / 33 NVQ assessor award. NVQ level 3 in IT and a Post Graduate Certificate in Emotional Education completed through Derby University.
In 2010, Sunita left Residential Care and began to practice as a Locum Social Worker and has held long term contracts with a number of Local Authorities in the North and North West of England. As part of her ongoing professional development and Social Worker role, Sunita has undertaken specialist training in Working with Sex Offenders, Fabricated and Induced Illness, Child Sexual Exploitation and Behaviour Management.
